FAQ

  • What is the cost of the program?
    8WW is a program that operates in over 40 centers nationally and internationally. Costs will vary depending on location. Each office will verify your individual costs. There is a no cost & no obligation orientation for the program in each center where we can further provide cost details. We also provide receipts for flex spending and health spending accounts.
  • Do I have to take supplements?
    A meal-replacement shake and a omega-3 fatty acid supplements are part of the 8WW program. However, please note that this is a real food program and not a liquid diet.
  • How much of my time will be committed to being there?
    We have very flexible hours for people with busy schedules and we can tailor the program around your schedule. You should anticipate committing approximately 4 hours a week to your program in the office.
  • Do we have to do the chiropractic portion?
    The program was designed by chiropractors and chiropractic is the foundation of the program. We don’t omit any part of the program because in order to see optimum results we have found every aspect is very important. We will provide you with an education on chiropractic before giving you any care so you will understand the benefits and feel comfortable with everything we do.
  • Will my insurance cover a larger portion if I am overweight?
    Your insurance coverage will not change merely because of your state of health.
  • Does the price include my meals?
    The price includes the meal replacement shakes and supplements, meal plans, easy recipes and a nutritional log but the actual food needed is simple items found in your local grocery store.
  • When can I start?
    The orientation session is required to participate in our program and it’s for your benefit so that you can truly grasp the concept and do your very best. The program will then start after the orientation giving you enough time to have your blood work, measurements and initial exam completed. Please call the local 8WW office to confirm the date and time of the next 8WW orientation or fill out our contact form and we will be happy to help you find an orientation opportunity.
  • Can I speak to other people who have finished the program?
    Yes we can provide you with testimonials and emails of patients that have previously had success with our program.
  • How many locations do you have?
